For many families facing economic hardship, the joy of Eid can be overshadowed by daily struggles. Our goal was to ensure that as many as possible could partake in the blessings of this sacred occasion. Through our dedicated Eid program, we distributed meat parcels (Qurbani/Adhiya),food hampers,new clothing for children,hygiene kits to 20 households in Bwaise and Kawempe .
The impact was immediate and heartwarming. We witnessed incredible scenes of joy as families received their provisions, allowing them to prepare festive meals and celebrate with dignity.Aisha, a mother of four from Kamwokya, expressed her profound gratitude, saying, ‘This meat means we can have a proper Eid meal after so long. My children are so happy.'” Children, dressed in their new clothes were distributed, mention , played with renewed energy, their laughter echoing the true spirit of the celebration.
These celebrations are a testament to the power of collective compassion. Our Eid distribution was made possible by the incredible generosity of our donors, both local and international, and the tireless efforts of our dedicated volunteers.
